CCH's specialty training is strongly oriented to the Ericksonian approach - and beyond. The School enjoys wide and prestigious accreditation throughout the UK. CCH's students are taught:

  • to develop their own skills in the clinical arts of observation, hypnotic inductions, and the formulation of indirect suggestion, to enable them to become practising hypnotherapists;
  • an understanding of the dynamics of unconscious processes in behaviour;
  • to have a high regard for the unique life experiences of each individual, and to treat the whole person - not merely symptoms;
  • to attain personal development through enhanced awareness of their own psychological and emotional functioning;
  • to study the theoretical positions of other schools of psychological thought;
  • how to set up in private practice - and practice management.
  • Cambridge College of Hypnotherapy is a provider for Career Development Loans, so eligible students may obtain Loans to train with us.

CCH is:

  • accredited by National Council for Hypnotherapy
  • accredited by UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (associated with Foundation for Integrated Medicine)
  • accredited by The Hypnotherapy Association
  • accredited by the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy
  • accredited by the Hypnotherapy Society
  • accredited by the National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists

Students who qualify and join one of the recommended professional associations will be eligible to join the Hypnotherapists Register held by CNHC (Complementary National Healthcare Council), which is recognised by the Department of Health. (Any GP wishing to use a Complementary Therapist MUST use one who is registered with CNHC).
