The techniques of hypnotherapy can be learned. The important thing is that you are a genuine person with experience of life and, a desire to help others, compassion and a sense of humour. Formal education qualifications are not required.

Many able people have left formal education without gaining evidence of their ability and are fully capable of learning new skills. There is a requirement to complete written work as part of the course. Guidance is given at all stages.

Who Can Apply?

Hypnotherapists come from all walks of life, some change their career completely, and many work part time, to supplement their incomes and some work into retirement to supplement their pensions.

Some applicants come to learn these skills in order to use them in their existing profession or occupation.

The Training Course

It is an eclectic mix, of what is widely considered to be highly effective techniques. They are based on the work of the late Dr Milton Erickson (internationally respected as an extraordinarily effective therapist) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) as developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder Analytical Therapy and of course Suggestion Therapy.

Accredited Training

CCH has earned the right to be an accredited Training Organisation of the United Kingdom Council for Hypnotherapy Organisations, the National Council for Hypnotherapy, The Hypnotherapy Association, the Hypnotherapy Society plus many others.

The CCH Diploma

Allows the successful student to go into practice and become a full member of whichever professional hypnotherapy organisation they choose.
